For all residents who use the train:
From Saturday 23 May to the early hours of Tuesday 9 June, engineering works will be taking place and replacement bus services will operate between Bristol Parkway railway station and Newport railway station.
Some train services will run hourly between London Paddington station and Swansea/Carmarthen using an alternative route via Gloucester instead of Bristol Parkway. Peak-time services will continue to operate between London Paddington and Bristol Parkway, while off-peak passengers are advised to travel via Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
On Sunday 24 May, services will not divert via Gloucester and will instead only operate between London Paddington and Bristol Parkway, and between Newport and Swansea.Passengers are advised to check before travelling and allow extra time for their journey.
