- Promote the welfare and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.
- Take all safeguarding concerns seriously.
- Ensure councillors, staff and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities.
- Work with relevant agencies where safeguarding concerns are identified.
- Maintain and regularly review our safeguarding policies and procedures.
Any safeguarding concern reported to the Council will be treated seriously and handled appropriately in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy (available below)
