Chief Executive and Responsible Finance Officer
Thornbury Town Council is offering an excellent opportunity for a qualified and motivated local government professional to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer and Responsible Finance Officer on a fixed-term maternity cover contract (anticipated up to 12 months).
This senior leadership position (SCP LC3 42–45, £51,802–£55,367) will lead a dedicated team of 15 staff and work closely with an ambitious body of councillors to deliver high-profile community projects, including a new splashpad, memorial woodland and multi-use games area, while ensuring strong financial management and sound governance across all Council services. If you are CiLCA qualified and experienced in managing projects, people and public funds, this is an opportunity to play a leading role in shaping and delivering meaningful improvements for the Thornbury community.
