When Can I Access the Citizens Advice Service?
Thornbury Town Hall is home to the Citizens Advice Outreach Service. Citizens Advice is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis every Tuesday between 10.00am and 12.00pm.
Conveniently located in the heart of Thornbury High Street, the Town Hall can be accessed directly from the High Street. Wheelchair users and those with buggies can use the accessible entrance along the side of the building, opposite Costa.
What Does Citizens Advice Do?
Citizens Advice supports people facing issues that may feel complicated or overwhelming. They believe that no one should have to face these challenges without access to good‑quality, independent advice.
They are part of a network of independent charities offering confidential, free advice online, by phone, and in person. Citizens Advice is independent and completely impartial.
How Does It Work?
When you arrive at the Town Hall, please speak to the reception team to let them know you are waiting. They will give you a form to complete and direct you to the waiting area.
While you take a seat and fill in the form, the reception team will notify Citizens Advice that you have arrived. Once the adviser has finished with the previous client, they will come to greet you and take you through for your appointment. Please bring your completed forms with you.
