Hiring Rooms at the Town Hall

There are two rooms available for hire at Thornbury Town Hall: the Exhibition Room and the Council Chamber. For further details, please visit the Facilities section of the Thornbury Town Council website.

Cemetery

Cemetery fees and charges apply only when the deceased was permanently a resident within the boundaries of the town of Thornbury. Any person who had ceased to be a resident during the last three years immediately before their death, because of the necessity to move to a nursing home or hospital will not be charged double fees.  If the council is unable to establish residency then it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the necessary proof.  In all cases, fees and charges are DOUBLE those shown, unless an Exclusive Right of Burial for the grave space or plot in question is already held.
