Community Toilet Scheme
Look out for the ‘use our loo’ stickers in these participating local businesses in Thornbury:

- Foxhills Café and Gifts
- The Royal George
Look out for the ‘use our loo’ stickers and you can use the toilet facilities in these businesses without having to make a purchase, knowing they are being maintained to a good standard through being part of the ‘Community Toilet Scheme’, which is a national scheme to improve toilet provision in towns across the country.
Local business can receive a grant from the Town Council to make their facilities available to the public, without requiring them to make a purchase. We are not currently taking new applications, but keep an eye on our website for details about when the scheme comes up for renewal, and we’ll be inviting new applications again.

There are also public toilets owned by St Mary Shopping Centre, located on Rock Street. These will be subject to the centre’s opening hours.
Public toilets can be found at the Pavilion, Mundy Playing Fields, Kington Lane, which are open between 9am and 8pm through the summer and shorter hours in the winter. Please check signage on arrival for detailed opening hours.
