Transport Around Thornbury

NEW - Number 65 Bus Route

The No.65 bus service, which connects residential areas in Thornbury with the town centre, is now in operation. 

The service runs between Scythe Way (near Barley Fields) and Thornbury Leisure Centre, with stops at Castle School and Thornbury Town Centre.  

Buses depart from Scythe Way from 7.00am and from Thornbury Leisure Centre from 7.30am. The service operates every 60 minutes, Monday to Friday, with Saturday services running at least hourly.

Please note that there is no service on Sundays.

65 bus service 



Y2C Bus Service

The Y2C bus service has proved so popular with local residents that it has now been incorporated into the main bus network operated by WECA. The service connects Yate, Engine Common, Rangeworthy, Tytherington, Thornbury, Alveston, Olveston, Tockington, Almondsbury and Cribbs Causeway, providing an important link between communities across the area.

T1 Bus Service

The T1 bus serviceconnects Thornbury, Almondsbury, Bradley Stoke, Harry Stoke and Bristol City Centre.     

The first T1 service departs from Thornbury at 5.45am, and the last service departs from Bristol City Centre at 11.17pm.

The T1 connects Thornbury with other bus services at Bradley Stoke and Central Bristol.

Number 60 Bus Service

The No. 60 bus service connects Thornbury and Dursley.    

The first bus departs from Thornbury at 7.35am and the last bus departs at 6.30pm

The 207A connects Thornbury with Berkeley and Sharpness.
