2025 Spring/Summer Grant Awards

The first grant awarding round of the year saw a total of £22,908.87 awarded. This benefitted 10 organisations:

Thornbury Christmas Lights Association – £5000

Thornbury Wayfinders – £600.37

The Inspire Arts Trust – £750

Thornbury Town Band – £750

Thornbury Musical Theatre Group – £1000

Thornbury Volunteer Centre – £1800

Core Wellness – £2948.50

Thornbury Hockey Club – £3000

Thornbury Carnival – £5000

Thornbury Arts Festival – £2060

Thornbury Christmas Lights: 

“We were grateful for the councils donation which was used towards the purchase of the waterproof connectors for the radio controlled switches trialled at The Plain and Castle Street for the 2019 Christmas Lights Switch on.  The trial was a success and the resulting WOW factor of the instantaneous show of light had every body stunned.   Thank you Thornbury Town Council.”

Thornbury Town Football Club Under 9's 

“I know I have said this many times, but thank you again! Your help, guidance and support has helped us and the club massively. It will bring smiles to 24 kids, which will delight parents, family, coaches and all connected to the club. Without grants such as this, I don't know how we'd be able to put those smiles on those young faces... So, a thousand thank yous!!”
