On Monday afternoon, representatives from a range of local organisations came together to share ideas and help shape Thornbury’s bid to become a Town of Culture in 2028.
The session brought together Thornbury Museum, Love Thornbury, St Mary’s Church, the Armstrong, young people from JIGSAW Thornbury and others, and was led by Councillors Chris Woodhouse, Helen Ball and Tiff O’Connor.
The discussion generated many ambitious and exciting ideas for Thornbury, which will be developed further over the coming weeks.
We would love to hear from local organisations and residents who have ideas for Thornbury’s future as a Town of Culture. With the submission deadline of 31 March approaching, there is still plenty of work to do but we are well on our way so please do get in touch with any suggestions you have.
