Please be aware that South Gloucestershire Council have announced a temporary road closure on Kington Lane from Monday 7 December 2026.
The closure is required to allow cabling works to take place and will affect vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders.
📅 Expected duration: Approximately 5 days, although the closure may not be in place for the full period (see notice below)
📍 Location: Kington Lane, from its junction with Mumbleys Lane, extending 220 metres north-west and 900 metres east.
🚗 Diversion route: Church Road, Chapel Road, Pickedmoor Lane, Oldbury Lane, Butt Lane, Gloucester Road, The Plain and Castle Street.
Please plan your journeys accordingly and follow the signed diversion route.
