Two pedestrian underpasses in Thornbury will be temporarily closed from 5 November 2026 while new artwork is installed.
Affected locations:
- Park Road underpass (between Alexandra Way and Hyde Avenue)
- Gillingstool underpass (between Gloucester Road/Beechacres and Gillingstool)
The work is expected to take around two weeks. The closures will only be in place while work is being carried out and warning signs are displayed.
Alternative routes:
- Park Road underpass: via Hyde Avenue, Alexandra Way and Park Road
- Gillingstool underpass: via Gillingstool and Grovesend Road
