Temporary Footpath Closure Notice
South Gloucestershire Council has temporarily closed the pedestrian subway between Morton Way and Osprey Park, Thornbury from 7 September 2026 to allow art installation works to take place.
The closure affects the entire length of the subway and may remain in place for up to 21 days.
Pedestrian Diversion Route Pedestrians are advised to use the following alternative route: Footpaths along Crossway Road and Gloucester Road The signal-controlled pedestrian crossing The footway on Morton Way The footpath alongside Morton Way.
Please follow any signage in place and allow extra time for your journey.
