Poppies are available in the Town Hall! Also, calling all crafters to be part of the Remembrance display

Thank you so much to the wonderful knitters and crocheters who have brought in such beautifully crafted poppies to the Town Hall for our community Remembrance display.

We are all so impressed with the skill they've been made with and are looking forward to seeing them on the Town Hall.

If you would like to make or bring in your knitted or crocheted poppy for the display there is still time - please drop them off by Monday 2nd November into Thornbury Town Hall (35 High Street.)

Our hope is that the Thornbury Remembrance display grows into something spectacular - we don't have enough poppies for a giant display this year but we will keep them all and use them in the future. This is an ongoing project so please bring in poppies and hand them in at any point in the year if you'd like to contribute.

We now have traditional RBL poppies and a donation tin in the reception of the Town Hall so feel free to come and pick up your poppy.

Here's a picture with a few of the lovely poppies which will form part of the display.
