Mayor Helen Ball (pictured) tried the new Y2C bus service to Cribbs Causeway last week. The service ran on time in both directions, and the 13-seater bus has space for a wheelchair.
Here are a few fun facts on the service:
- The bus stops at Asda, Cribbs Causeway before reaching the terminus
- It passes the Wild Place Project, and the driver confirmed they’ll stop there if requested – a big plus for families
- Passengers reported that it’s excellent value
- Everyone on board knew it’s a trial service – so it’s very much a “use it or lose it” situation
Next time Helen’s Y2C adventure will be to Yate! We look forward to hearing how she gets on.
