Keep Britain Tidy’s Love Parks Week takes place this year from 25 July to 3 August, celebrating the vital role green spaces play in boosting the health and wellbeing of residents and communities. To celebrate Thornbury’s lovely green spaces, we will be at Mundy Playing Fields on Monday 28 July between 11am and 12.30pm. Join us to take part in a self-guided nature scavenger hunt, to plant some cress seeds ready for your next picnic, to do a mini litter pick and to chat about what makes our local parks so great for people and nature. No need to book – just come along and say hello. All activities are free of charge and everyone is welcome.
