Can you knit or crochet, or do you know someone who does?
This year we are hoping to decorate outside of Thornbury Town Hall with hand knitted and crocheted poppies for Remembrance Day.
If you can knit or crochet we have patterns available to collect from Thornbury Town Hall for free! Once your poppy has been finished please drop it to Thornbury Town Hall where it will form part of the community display at the Town Hall. If you would rather follow your own pattern and do your own thing that is great too. The more poppies the better!
We have a donation box in aid of Royal British Legion which we encourage all crafters to pop a contribution into.
You can also download a fantastic RBL pattern for free here: https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/.../craft-a-poppy-for...
Please drop off all handmade poppies at Thornbury Town Hall by 1st November 2026 where they will form part the display.
