About Gil
Councillor representative on Youth Engagement Forum, Krunch and Fair Trade
My name is Gil Gilroy and a Thornbury resident since February 1982.
Our community and community activities are about people and how we live in our area. A sense of belonging, a feeling of being part of something good. Thornbury has a great variety of community groups which speaks volumes about our Town. I have involved myself in many of our towns community projects and groups, as a consequence have gained a great deal of knowledge about our town from the people who reside here and from those in local businesses.
Now retired I ran my business in Thornbury for over 30 years.
